Living in the Palmeraie,
five kilometres from the Medina.
The Palmeraie is the great palm grove on the northern edge of Marrakech. Its history goes back to the Almoravid dynasty in the 11th century, when an ingenious network of underground channels — the khettaras — brought water from the Atlas to the plain. Today it is a protected landscape of date palms, olive groves and private estates linked by the Circuit de la Palmeraie, the road on which The Palais Monte Carlo stands.
Getting to the palace
- From Marrakech-Menara airport (RAK): around 20 to 25 minutes by car. Private transfers are arranged by the palace on arrival.
- From the Medina and Jemaa el-Fna: about 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
- From Guéliz and the Hivernage: about 15 minutes.
Covered parking for ten vehicles is available on the estate, with access for vans and small production trucks.
